In america there are lots of rankings of America Top Colleges authored by respected publications for example Forbes.com, College Prowler, among others. US News & World Report is the better-known American college and university rankings. The guide offers rankings in many categories including: National Universities, Liberal Arts Colleges, Master's Universities and Baccalaureate Colleges. Additionally schools in the Master's Universities and Baccalaureate Colleges categories are put into among four geographic regions: South, North, Midwest and West.
